LeBron James has climbed one of those NBA mountains but has many more to go. The sports writers and talk show hosts should not even ask the question of do we think Lebron James is up there with Magic, MJ & Kobe etc... The guy's team just won a championship, one championship. Lebron James is an outstanding basketball player but please stop the comparisons, it just sounds ridiculous.

Hey I am a huge Niner Fan, have been for a long time. There is nothing positive or forward moving about picking up Randy Moss. The issue wasn't that Smith had no one to throw to, Smith couldn't get the ball to those that were open. Maybe hindsight is 20/20 but I saw the games and as much as I like Alex Smith, he is not the guy. An old proven receiver like Moss isn't moving to the next level, only taking the Niners back. Is TO next? You want to go backwards, at least go after old talent like Jeff Garcia or hey here is an idea, Peyton Manning is looking for a job.

A great article by a CBS writer who is talking about the ability for student athletes to transfer schools with eligibility. My take is transferring schools with NCAA eligibility and playing for another school goes against what the NCAA was setup for. The parity that is in place gives all schools a chance. Obviously some schools will attract the better athletes but at least kids can't jump schools.

Now if the athlete were allowed to move around, schools would become similar to a "professional" organization and most definitely the smaller schools would suffer. Who cares? We all do as a school in the North West would become not as competitive as say a school in the south west. If we were to allow these kids to move around, then open it up and get rid of the BCS. (i.e Boise State)

So we all know LSU is number one but why do we have to continue to have arguments about the rest. Oklahoma State University could be better than Alabama and what about Stanford? Why do we have to have the BCS for ranking these teams. Alabama is questionable and so is Oklahoma so would a four game playoff actually hurt? No a playoff would not hurt anything except the amount of money made in the Bowl Game scenario. Fine have the bowl games and play one more game for the championship. Really why can't this happen, I am tired of the analyst's guessing who is better without the teams actually playing each other. Excuse me, Alabama already lost to LSU.

Can't really understand why folks don't believe a 9-1 team is for real in the NFL. Yes the San Francisco 49ers have a weak division but they have had solid wins against solid teams outside of their division. If not for two missed coverages, the Dallas Cowboys would have been their tenth victim.

Say what you will but the Niners are steamrolling to the playoffs and there isn't much that can be said negative about a successful team that makes the playoffs. Green Bay is going to fail at some point and then what, we talk about who is better between the Cowgirls and the Giants?

Here we go again, Oklahoma State loses and now we have at least five to six teams vying for 2nd place. Problem with that is Alabama is part of that equation and they lost to the number one team. Then we have Oregon who with a win should leap ahead for contention, at least we think. Technically what does it say about Iowa if they beat number 2? Guess we can't can't talk about Iowa because the BCS won't let us.

Can anybody truly rationalize the BCS formula against some form of playoff or title game? How about let the country decide who our top 25 are? Sounds pretty bad except what is the difference between the BCS and those that follow NCAA Football. Instead of the BCS conversation, let the public decide how we rank teams.

The games are for the kids playing and the fans watching. Quit giving us some random idea of who should be playing College Football after New Years Day, make a solid winner. With what we presently have now, whomever beats LSU in the end is number one to include somebody they already beat this year. Gee that makes alot of sense.
